Purpose of this “Privacy Policy”:  giving you important information on how we collect and process your personal data through your use of this site and our app.  Please check our terms and conditions for more information about our business and other applicable terms and conditions.

Welcome to Moment (“App”). The App is operated by AtKairos Limited, a company registered in Scotland (Number SC681325) and our registered office is at 58 Morrison Street , Edinburgh EH 8HA (referred to below as “We/Us/Our/AtKairos”).

ATKAIROS LIMITED (“we”, “us” or “our”) is the data controller and is responsible for your personal data.


The Data We Collect

Personal data and information is information about an individual user, from which that person can be identified. It doesn’t include data, from which the user identity has been removed (anonymous data). Aggregated data is not linked to the user identity and is statistical or demographic data, which can be derived, but is not directly or indirectly linked to the user’s identity.

There are two main types of data that we collect: data linked to the user’s identity and data not linked to the user’s identity.


Data Linked to the User’s Identify

We use this information to improve our analytics, personalize the product, and enhance the app functionality. We do not use this information for tracking and advertising purposes. This may include, but it is not limited to:

  • Contact Info: first and last name, username, or similar identifiers, contact data (email address and telephone information), contacts info

  • Health & Fitness: activity and health-related data, such as workouts, exercise minutes, sleep, and other similar identifiers.

  • Purchases: subscription status and previous in-app purchases

  • Location: coarse location (not precise) to enhance the user experience around events

Any data linked to the user identity are protected and secured. We only use it to enhance the product experience, personalize it for the user, and improve the app functionality and features to meet the user needs.


Data Not Linked to the User’s Identity

We use this information to improve the performance of the app and its features and services. As with Data Linked to the User’s Identify, we do not use this information for tracking or advertising purposes. This may include, but it is not limited to:

  • Usage data: aggregated usage of product interaction

  • User ID and Device ID: non-identifiable user ID, which helps us better understand the usage and usefulness of our app

  • Diagnostics Data: information related to crash data and performance data


Apple Health Data Collection

  • Data Collection: We collect data from Apple Health, including but not limited to sleep data, workout data, mindful minutes, activity, and data of birth.

  • Data Usage: We use this information only to provide a better product experience. With the data collected from Apple Health, we provide personalized recommendations and suggestions to optimize how you organize your day.

  • Data Security and Protection: We do not use such data for advertisement purposes and we do not transfer the data to any third parties, except as provided in this Privacy Policy. We take appropriate measures to ensure the health data collected from Apple Health is stored securely and protected against unauthorized access.

  • Data Access and Deletion: Users can delete the health data collected from Apple Health by navigating to Profile > Body Clock > Apple Health and disabling access. A pop-up message will ask whether you'd like to delete the data entirely, or just limit future access to it.

    Alternatively, users can disable access by going to their iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > Moment.


Additional Information Collection

We collect limited information from our site via Cookies - please read our Cookie Policy.

We do rely on some Third-Party Information Collection, such as Google, and we use that for analytics purposes, so we can provide you with better services. Please note that we do not control these third parties’ tracking technologies or how they ay be used - if you have questions about them, you should contact the responsible provider directly. You agree that your access and use of such party tools may be subject to their terms of use and privacy policies.

We never share personal data or cookie information with anyone else (unless we’re ordered to by law) and we just use this to deliver the services you request of us (which is keeping you updated with the development of atKairos and some associated content).


Sign-In Using Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, and Microsoft Sign-In

We comply with the policies of each provider and we adhere to their policies.


Google Sign-In

atKairos's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.


Opting out

You can ask us to stop sending you messages at any time by following the opt-out links on any message sent to you.  You can also request details and discuss personal information that we hold about you.  Just get in touch with us by email: privacy@atkairos.com

You have the right to make a complaint at any time to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority for data protection issues, but we would be pleased if you let us try to resolve any issues first by getting in touch with us.

  • Whenever we transfer your personal data out of the EEA, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it.

  • We’ll only retain personal data for 2 years unless we’re legally obliged to keep it longer.

  • The site and app may include links to third-party websites, plug-ins and applications.
